This is a test post — the first entry on the blog, here mainly to prove the pipes work.

The page should feel like the rest of the site: quiet serif titles, readable prose, and enough whitespace that nothing shouts. Nothing profound lives here yet; that comes later.

Why a blog at all

Notes, project write-ups, and the occasional longer thought. Short posts are fine. So are drafts that stay drafts.
